Two Repair Modes
Deep Repair (flatten) renders every page at print quality and rebuilds a clean PDF. It removes hidden text layers, so covered content can never garble again — the same result as manually rasterizing and re-uploading, without the extra steps. If you need selectable text afterward, run OCR.
Standard Repair (rebuild) re-serializes the document with a fresh object tree, xref table, and metadata while keeping the text layer. It fixes files that fail to open or misbehave because they were changed so many times.
